Lead Clinician – Early Intervention in Psychosis Services – Thanet
This role is part of the senior clinical leadership team, providing evidence-based, high-quality care.
Responsibilities
* Act as a role model and guide the team to deliver high quality standards of care, respond to service demands, and support the team with complex and challenging situations.
* Demonstrate excellent communication, work within the leadership team to prioritise daily clinical demands and support the clinical team.
* Provide clinical advice and supervision (individual and group) and contribute to staff appraisals.
* Deliver in-house training to the team and wider teams/services when needed.
* Support and embed clinical standards within the team.
* Lead/support and contribute to monitoring team’s clinical performance via audits and work with the Team Manager to improve the service and outcomes for users.
* Show strong organisational, time‑management and delegation skills in a changing priority environment.
* Be a cohesive member of the Leadership Team, work flexibly, support the Team Manager, and provide expertise to develop and retain staff.
* Hold day‑to‑day clinical oversight of the team ensuring safe and effective service delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Suitable leadership experience in a clinical setting.
* Full, valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business purposes (unless a disability under the Equality Act 2010).
