Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Northamptonshire to recruit an inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of Design Technology for a September 2026 start.
This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking to develop their practice within a supportive and innovative department. Experience of teaching Art and/or Photography would be a significant advantage.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Design Technology or a related subject
* Have experience teaching at KS3 and KS4
* Demonstrate a strong track record of securing positive student outcomes
* Be confident using IT to enhance teaching and learning
* Be committed to continuous professional development
* Be an effective form tutor who understands the importance of pastoral care
* Champion a values-led education and contribute positively to the wider school community
* Believe that students make the best progress when lessons are well planned and delivered to a high standard
