HGV Technician Needed – Manchester – Days or Nights Available
1. Days: 6am – 2:30pm / 2pm – 10pm (40 hours, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday overtime at x1.5)
2. Nights: 9:30pm – 6:30am (45 hours, Monday to Friday, with Saturday overtime at x1.5)
3. Competitive pay + overtime rate (£20-£22 per hour, depending on experience and shift pattern)
Our client, a leading Commercial Group with multiple dealerships and authorised repairers, is seeking experienced HGV Technicians to join their award-winning team. Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician:
4. Service, maintain, and repair heavy goods vehicles
5. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
6. Conduct MOT preparations, ensuring vehicles comply with regulatory standards
7. Follow safety procedures and adhere to HGV maintenance regulations
8. Utilize strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
9. Communicate effectively with team members and clients
10. Work flexible hours, including overtime as required
What our client is looking for in a HGV Technician:
11. Strong experience as an HGV Technician
12. Qualified to a Level 3 standard in HGV maintenance and repair (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
13. Full UK driving licence (Class 1 Licence preferred)
14. Relevant certifications and qualifications are advantageous
