We are currently recruiting a high calibre full-time [36.25hrs per week]Head of Photographyto join our Graduation Services team. Monday to Friday 9am – 5.15 pm.
Work Location: In person. Ely CB6
Main duties will include:
* Represent the brand with professionalism across all client and customer touchpoints, upholding event and service standards.
* Liaise with Clients on photography aspects of graduation ceremonies, in close consultation with Head of Operations
* Take ownership of P&L’s
* Undertake site visits and attend graduations
* Work with Client Services and Product Teams to ensure accurate and timely client information, supporting effective event planning, stock management, and smooth delivery
* Act as primary point of contact for client photographic queries
* Oversee all aspects of tender applications and contracts in conjunction with Head of Operations
* Produce presentations and deliver face-to-face presentations In conjunction with Head of Operations
* drive sales and identify opportunities for growth, including cross-selling and new business development
* review and develop web site functionality and support further developments
* Maintain up to date knowledge of latest photographic styles
* Support studio consultations and review processes and studio photography to ensure optimum service delivery and product quality
* Undertake product and pricing reviews
Managing and coordinating all aspects of photography services, including
* Ceremony planning, preparation, and administration (including room plans, equipment list, staffing schedules)
* Booking ceremony workers, ensuring events are adequately staffed with correct teams
* Organising team training events
* Ensuring packing lists are produced
* Monitoring standards and taking action when necessary
* Maintaining photography equipment, usage, condition, requirements and monitoring availability.
* Ensuring all equipment (including laptops) are ceremony-ready
* Maintaining stock control
* Updating website
* Reviewing clients’ websites for ceremony information
* Optimising process/service offered
* Resolving any QC issues
* Work closely with Head of Operations at all times
* Liaise with Group Photography Department agreeing production timelines, stocks of mounts, frames, etc.
* Communicate regularly with the Group Photography department to ensure expected standards are achieved
* Management of General Assistant
* Provide regular updates to the Group Head of Graduation Services and others including monthly statistics, client status, proposals, plans, schedule, etc.
Skills needed to be considered for this position:
* Commercially minded with a passion for photography
* Experienced photographer
* Extensive knowledge of studio photography, processes and equipment
* Full driving licence
* Professional & high level of customer service
* IT Skills
* Team worker with flexible approach to duties
