A reputable firm well established in Residential and Commercial Property, with a strong reputation for quality legal services, is seeking a Residential and Commercial Property (Solicitor/FCILEX) fee earner to join their busy property team.

This permanent, full-time role is fully remote, but will require experience previously with remote working. The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload spanning both residential and commercial property transactions. Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Manage a broad caseload of residential and commercial property matters,
o acting for property investors - working for a variety of investors and developers nationwide purchasing residential and some commercial property. An ability to cover this work is essential.

* Conduct thorough due diligence, including reviewing searches, examining title, and resolving enquiries to ensure smooth transactions.
* Ensure regulatory compliance in line with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) standards.
* Liaise effectively with clients, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders, providing clear, efficient, and supportive communication throughout the transaction.
* Support junior team members and contribute to team development, sharing expertise, and promoting best practices.


Essential Skills, Experience, and Knowledge for Property Solicitors and FCILEX

* Qualified solicitor or FCILEX with experience handling both residential and commercial property transactions.
* Comprehensive understanding of property law, with practical experience in managing a varied caseload independently.
* Up-to-date knowledge of SDLT, Land Registry processes, post-completion formalities, and associated compliance requirements.
* Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail, capable of juggling multiple matters to tight deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to deliver clear advice to clients and work collaboratively within a team.
* Proficiency in case management systems and standard office software applications.
