Job Details: Overview: The purpose of this role is to ensure that Cubic equipment is responded to, returned to full service and maintained to the highest standard possible whilst achieving relevant contractual SLA's. This position offers the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of technology within the transportation sector. With an extensive list of high profile projects you will be exposed to all areas of transportation technologies including the latest innovations in automated fare collection and contactless payments. Continuous variety and guidance from senior members of the team will afford you the opportunity to become a subject matter expert within this sector. Responsibilities: Perform first and second line maintenance on contracted equipment. Respond to and repair Cubic devices efficiently, following defined maintenance procedures. Minimize downtime during fault callouts. Assist in equipment installation or commissioning as directed by management. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and customer requirements. Manage equipment modules delivery and collection from designated locations. Support stock control or fault control as needed by management. Maintain quality standards in line with ISO guidelines. Qualifications Essential: Proven 'hands on' experience working in a high-tech Service/Maintenance environment A recognised Engineering Qualification. Experience of working in a Service/Maintenance environment. Proven customer service skills. Desirable: HNC or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering. Worked on SLA driven contracts with call to fix and system availability criteria.
