Principal Sourcing Specialist
We’re looking for a Principal Sourcing Specialist who enjoys learning and values teamwork, with strong pro‑active sourcing within M&A and Front‑Office Investment Banking, candidate attraction and headhunting strategies, and market mapping.
Key Accountabilities
What you'll do:
* Apply your expertise to act as a trusted partner to Recruiters and Hiring Managers, contributing insights and shaping sourcing strategies from the outset.
* Use your ability to lead recruitment discussions with confidence, providing data‑driven recommendations and talent market intelligence.
* Contribute to overall success of the team by leveraging your innovative sourcing approaches to attract top‑tier, and often passive talent across M&A Investment Banking.
* Utilize a variety of sourcing channels (e.g., LinkedIn, social media, direct search) to build strong, engaged talent pipelines.
* Drive improvements in hiring decisions through your strengths in delivering high‑quality, well‑qualified candidate shortlists.
* Provide an excellent candidate experience by communicating regularly, building trust, and representing the client's brand authentically.
* Prepare compelling candidate summaries that clearly highlight suitability and potential.
* Mentor and support junior colleagues, sharing your best practices to support team development.
Skills & Requirements
* Demonstrated ability in pro‑active sourcing and tailored searching, within the M&A Advisory, Front‑Office Investment Banking roles.
* Familiarity with recruitment technology such as Eightfold and Workday, and also various sourcing tools (Boolean search, X‑Ray search, LinkedIn Recruiter etc.).
* Strength in providing market mappings and insights.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
* Strength in prioritising workload effectively and managing capacity well.
* Ability to partner closely with stakeholders to deliver results, managing expectations with clarity and professionalism.
* Ability to deliver excellent candidate experience in conjunction with sourcing, first approach and phone screening, managing candidate satisfaction with the recruitment process.
