Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Services to lead a brand-new children’s home. The Registered Manager will oversee operations, ensure compliance, and provide exceptional care for young people with EBD.
This role requires a DBS check, strong leadership, and experience in residential childcare. As the Registered Manager, you will drive high standards and inspire your team while making a real difference.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team as the Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Services.

Maintain high standards of care and ensure OFSTED compliance.

Develop individualized care plans and promote a safe environment.

Collaborate with families, agencies, and professionals.

Oversee budgets, staffing, and reporting.

Lead recruitment, training, and staff development.
Requirements
*
Minimum 2 years in a managerial role in residential childcare.
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent).
*
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
*
Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
*
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Essential Qualifications/Experience
*
At least 2 years of residential childcare experience.
*
Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare.
*
Valid driving licence.
