Role Summary
The SMB Account Manager will manage inbound business driven by channel partners and support customers that have 1–100 employees, assisting partners with quotes, deal registrations, licensing, and other sales related activity.
What You Will Do
1. Manage a funnel of inbound leads and prioritize responses based on service level agreements and exceed monthly quota for closing sales opportunities.
2. Ensure quotes and other tasks are processed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
3. Understand the end-to-end processes across deal flow including roles and responsibilities of cross-functional support teams to quickly resolve issues.
4. Update CRM with conversations, competitive information, decision-making criteria and other pertinent information.
5. Communicate effectively and efficiently with the customer partner to progress on assigned tasks.
6. Achieve agreed quarterly sales goals and performance indicators for daily standards for number of tasks handled and closed tickets, calls, emails, and other sales activities.
7. Effectively communicate with Sophos prospects and customers using phone, email, LiveChat, SMS, and our Sales Engagement Platform
8. Add value to the Channel business through best-in-class support and growth mindset.
What You Will Bring
9. Previous Sales experience in the Cyber Security or Tech Industry, ideally within SMB
10. Experience calling customers for renewals, cross-sell, and up-sell.
11. Experience using CRM systems. Salesforce is preferred.
12. Interpersonal skills: Engages easily and uses effective questioning and active listening to gather relevant information.
13. Customer driven: Making customers, partners, and their needs a primary focus and delivers an exceptional customer experience.
14. Empathy: Critical to effectively de-escalate issues, understand desired outcomes, and advocate with other teams in the company.
15. Resourcefulness: Go-getters who go above and beyond to solve problems, quickly learn to use systems, and align with policies and guidelines
16. The position is Hybrid - 3 days a week in the Sophos Manchester office
