Role Accountabilities:
* Drive and operate company vehicles and equipment safely and legally.
* Attend customer premises to collect hazardous and non-hazardous packaged waste in drums, IBCs, etc.
* Understand and meet required standards of performance.
* Provide outstanding customer service to retain loyalty.
* Be flexible and prepared to work on tankers when not on curtainsider duties.
* Be flexible and prepared to work away from home as needed.
* Carry out all activities safely to protect human health, the environment, and public amenity.
* Complete driver-related paperwork accurately and on time.
* Perform some packaging and heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
* Report issues, problems, or concerns to your Line Manager promptly.
Person Specification
The Candidate:
* Hold a current HGV licence, Class 1 or 2.
* Hold an ADR qualification.
* Possess a Digi-card and current CPC qualification.
* Experience in waste management is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
* Have a good general education to GCSE standard or equivalent.
* Demonstrate competence in operating HGV vehicles, onsite equipment, and PPE.
