About the Role An Outstanding mixed school in Brent seeks a dynamic Design and Technology Teacher to join their design and technology department. You'll inspire students to develop their creative and practical skills. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology Teacher lessons, covering a range of materials and techniques. Prepare students for examinations and assessments. Develop students' design thinking, problem-solving, and manufacturing skills. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the design and technology curriculum and resources. Organise and lead design and technology-related extracurricular activities, such as robotics clubs and design competitions. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design and Technology. Proven experience in teaching design and technology at secondary level. Strong technical and practical skills in a range of design and technology disciplines. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
