* Salary: £13.46 per hour, which equates to £27,996.80 pro rata

* Shift Pattern: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, 8.30am - 2pm; Wednesday, 7:30am - 1:30pm
South West Norse has an opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join the Webbers Kitchen Provision. The role involves cooking at Webbers Primary School and Burlescombe Primary School, then serving at Webbers Primary School on a permanent part-time basis.
You will use your skills and experience to deliver an exciting and varied menu that utilises locally sourced and healthy ingredients, providing excellent customer service for the school. You will be responsible for managing the catering department for children with complex, severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties, including provision of modified diets, catering for allergies, and sensory needs.
You will contribute to menu planning and costing, helping us deliver a nutritional lunchtime meal, leading and directing a small on-site team to ensure timely and high-quality preparation.
Your Experience:
We are looking for someone with a passion for catering and enthusiasm for establishing a new kitchen service, demonstrating:
* Experience leading a busy kitchen environment, capable of organising catering staff and being hands-on with meal preparation and cooking
* Knowledge of menu development and costing, with a focus on promoting healthy and nutritious meals
* A relevant qualification in Food Hygiene, with experience applying this knowledge in a catering environment
