Job Description
National Enquiry Centre, Springfield Hospital, Chelmsford, Essex – Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week. We are developing and growing our National Enquiry Centre and are looking for an enthusiastic customer‑service‑focused Advisor. The role is based at our Springfield Hospital site in Chelmsford, with hybrid working opportunities available after successful completion of probation.
The National Enquiry Centre is Ramsay UK’s central customer‑service hub and is the heart of our business. Open from 8 am – 8 pm Monday to Friday and 9 am – 2 pm Weekends, our dedicated advisors provide telephone, email and web support to our patients and pride themselves on delivering a seamless and positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle enquiries via telephone, email and web channels to patients, providing accurate and timely information.
* Document all interactions in the system, ensuring high quality and compliance with policies.
* Resolve customer issues or direct them to the appropriate support team, aiming for first‑contact resolution.
* Support the operation of call centre services according to performance metrics and service level agreements.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous experience in a customer‑service or call‑centre environment is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
* Proactive, positive attitude and strong problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours and shift patterns.
