About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a full‑time assistant patient pathway administrator to join our friendly team within Ophthalmology. The post will be based at the John Radcliffe Hospital in the West Wing. This post is crucial to the on‑going development of the Ophthalmology service and would suit a candidate who has excellent organisational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Liaise with staff and colleagues at all levels.
* Manage each patient’s pathway in a timely and efficient manner.
* Prioritise and manage your own workload to tight deadlines.
* Demonstrate initiative and flexibility in a pressurised and busy environment.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven administration experience.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, grades A–C.
* Ability to adapt communication style as required.
* Experience with the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record System (EPR) and knowledge of elective access standards is an advantage but not essential.
