Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for Welders to work for our prestigious client based in Cannock.
Our Client is situated to provide a nationwide service, with a highly experienced team, the company has built its reputation on providing a reliable, friendly service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials
2. Interpreting engineering blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine the layout and welding operations required
3. Selecting and preparing metal and other materials based on job requirements
4. Cutting and shaping materials using saws, shears, and other cutting tools
5. Inspecting materials, equipment, and structures for compliance with specifications and ensure that they are free of defects
6. Performing routine maintenance on welding equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition
7. Performing quality checks on completed welds to ensure they meet specifications and standards. Identifying and fixing any issues or defects
8. Following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Using personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
9. Working alongside other welders, fabricators, and engineers to complete projects efficiently and accurately
10. Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project specifications
Preferred Experience:
11. Previous experience in MIG & TIG welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
12. Experience working with different types of metals and welding materials
13. Familiarity with automated and semi-automated welding tools and equipment
14. Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment

Hours of Work: Mon to Thurs 7.30am – 4pm / Fri – 7.30am – 1pm
