My Client is a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy working across Scotland. We support a wide range of commercial, public sector and private clients, delivering professional, accurate and defensible asbestos services.

Due to continued growth and internal progression, were now looking for an Experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our respected and close-knit team.
The Role
This is a varied, technically interesting position where youll carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys across a broad range of properties.
You wont be stuck doing the same survey type every day. Instead, youll be trusted to use your experience, contribute to survey scoping, and work collaboratively with management and technical colleagues.
Youll report directly to the Operations Manager and be fully supported by an experienced operational and admin team.
What Youll Be Doing Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys in line with current legislation and HSG guidance
Producing accurate, defensible reports using tablet-based surveying software
Collecting, labelling and recording samples correctly and professionally
Liaising confidently with clients, tenants and site contacts
Maintaining high standards of compliance with UKAS and internal QA procedures
Supporting continuous improvement of systems and working practices
Contributing to planning and scoping of surveys where appropriate
Providing occasional operational support (e.g. survey plans, data assistance)
What Were Looking For Essential: BOHS P402 qualified
Minimum 3 years asbestos surveying experience
Strong understanding of asbestos materials, building construction and health & safety
High attention to detail and pride in report quality
Professional, confident client-facing manner
Full UK driving licence
Desirable: Experience using Alpha Tracker
Experience across a wide variety of property types and survey scopes

Salary & Benefits: £30,000 £35,000 depending on experience
