We're really pleased to be working on an exclusive basis with a long-time client of ours on this brand-new Business Analyst role. The vacancy has arisen largely because the company is growing faster than ever, has new products on the horizon, and is expanding in new markets, so it's an exciting - and busy - time to join.
Our client is a software company operating in the niche Travel sector with a recognisable, international client base. Although well established, they remain reasonably small, resulting in varied and multi-faceted roles, which are great for career development and suit candidates with a flexible outlook who can learn quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment.
The role is based in Windsor. We prefer someone who enjoys being in the office daily, though hybrid working (a minimum of three days in the office per week) is available. Initially, expect to be in the office full-time for the first three months for onboarding and support.
Business Analyst - Responsibilities
The core focus is on external customer projects, including:
* Running meetings and workshops with new customers to gather requirements
* Collaborating with stakeholders to understand clients' businesses
* Mapping processes and documenting requirements
* Preparing Statements of Work using internal tools
* Capturing detailed requirements for the project team
* Facilitating communication between customers and delivery teams to meet requirements
* Preparing high-quality handover documentation
Additionally, you'll become a Subject-Matter Expert in our client's software, especially updated versions, and may also:
* Configure new users and permissions (training provided)
* Perform system testing
Some time will also be dedicated to internal projects, including:
* Capturing and documenting requirements for new products and updates
* Assisting with system testing and documentation
* Writing and maintaining release notes
Business Analyst - Requirements
Candidates should have a foundational understanding of Business Analysis, with around two years of experience preferred. Soft skills and approach are equally important, including:
* Excellent stakeholder communication and management
* Strong verbal and written articulation with attention to detail
* Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly
Experience in the Travel sector is a plus, but training will be provided if not.
