THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to join our IT Services division.
Reporting to our Head of Solutions, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our sales efforts by designing and delivering cutting-edge IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, end-user computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise networking solutions. You will be the trusted advisor to our customers, bridging their business needs with our technology solutions. Key Responsibilities
* Drive achievement of sales targets by designing strategic, customer‑focused solutions and delivering clear technical presentations.
* Partner with Account Managers and Business Development Managers to identify, qualify, and progress opportunities, including leading discovery workshops and audits.
* Develop high‑quality solution documentation such as architectures, statements of work, cost models, and reusable offerings/pricing frameworks.
* Support sales enablement and tender responses, ensuring solutions align with customer needs and business objectives.
* Build strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor, managing inquiries and issues with professionalism and urgency.
* Stay current with emerging technologies, certifications, and industry trends while collaborating with Product and Delivery teams on new service offerings.
Skills & Qualifications
* Extensive solution architecture experience in both delivery and pre-sales
* Proven track record of achieving annual sales targets
* Experience with Managed Services Providers serving mid-market customers (50-1000 seats)
* Strong background in business requirements gathering and technical documentation
Technical Skills: You'll need deep expertise across multiple technology domains:
* Cloud and Infrastructure: Azure, AWS (IaaS, PaaS): Hyper-V, VMware, Backups and Disaster recovery solutions
* Cybersecurity: SOC, SIEM, MDR/EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, NIST, Essential 8
* Networking: SD-WAN/SASE, NGFW, WiFi, Fibre, NBN, Starlink, 5G
* Modern Workplace: Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Teams, Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix
* Unified Communications: SIP, 8x8, Teams, Zoom
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Information Systems or similar
* Industry certifications such as CISSP, TOGAF, ITIL, PRINCE2,
* Advanced technical certifications from vendors such as Microsoft, Fortinet, HPE, Veeam, Tenable, SentinelOne etc.
