Façade Designer Cardiff/Bristol £40,000 PERMANENT – FULL TIME My client is a leading principal contractor who deliver high-quality, compliant, multi-million-pound contracts throughout London and the wider Southeast. They are currently looking for an experienced Designer to join their North London team. Role purpose * Go to site and site office (3-4 days per week) and take surveys, complete photos to create drawings * Create drawings, using relevant specifications * Liaise with Estimating, at construction stage, Commercial and Site management and other relevant departments throughout the life of the project as required to track design and quality issues. * Liaise with manufacturers, external structural engineers and architects, as required. Job duties * Ensure information is available for site set up in line with company requirements, from job start to close. * Assist D&Q manager with training and advising site management and subcontractors as required. * Attend regular meetings with site teams, as required. * As advised by D&Q manager, visit sites on a planned and adhoc basis. * Measure and monitor delivery of KPIs for site management and subcontractors. * Ensure updated information for subcontractor database is passed to procurement and ordering. * Collate relevant information for relevant standards to pass to client and funder as appropriate. * Make recommen...
