About the team
This role is embedded at the heart of Logistics Technology. The team operates in a .NET, Kafka, Azure Cloud, Flink environment, driving multiple Logistic Transformation initiatives and integration strategies.
What you'll do
1. Lead and enable the delivery of technology solutions that create value, drive efficiency, and enhance performance for the business.
2. Line manage and guide a multi-skilled engineering team, ensuring they have the resources and skills to deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
3. Mentor and coach team members, recruit diverse talent, and promote a culture of collaboration, learning, and respect.
4. Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to define product vision and technical direction, manage multiple deliveries, and take end-to-end ownership of products, including change and service management.
5. Drive the development of new features, promote best engineering practices, and advocate for agile/lean methodologies.
6. Manage initiative-level budgets, ensure adherence to processes and standards, and foster a culture of excellence and inclusivity.

1. A passionate and experienced engineering leader with a deep understanding of engineering practices and team development skills.
2. Possess strong technical expertise, lead by example, and inspire colleagues, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
3. Capable of managing multiple large-scale platform developments, making informed technical decisions, and implementing best practices.
4. Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills, build relationships at all levels, and contribute to an inclusive, diverse culture.
