We are looking for an Associate to join our Special Investigations team in London. Our Special Investigations team focus on contentious insolvency and fraud investigations with a demonstrated history of recovering assets from both the UK and overseas. We deal with cross-border issues, complex litigation and numerous contentious issues, as well as liquidations and high-profile bankruptcies. You'll make an impact by: Planning assignments in accordance with the Firm's standard procedures and relevant statutory and extra statutory obligations, and to confirm arrangements with the client, company, or appointer, including likely costs and billing arrangements. Managing a large portfolio of insolvency cases, including compulsory liquidations creditors voluntary liquidations and bankruptcies. Briefing staff (including those based in other offices working on the assignment) on cases, to supervise and control the completion of work and to undertake ‘on the job' training and appraisals where appropriate. Conducting detailed analysis of financial information and other records, to identify issues, assets and antecedent transactions including misfeasance, transactions at undervalue and breach of duty claims.
