As our AI & ML Engineer, you will design and build transformative AI capabilities that enhance audit quality and insight and support efficient operations across our practice. You will be instrumental in developing document analysis solutions, automated testing methodologies, and AI-powered audit planning tools that will position RSM UK at the forefront of audit innovation.
This role combines hands-on ML engineering with architectural thinking in a professional services environment, giving you the opportunity to both design and implement genuine transformation in the audit industry.
You’ll make an impact by:
1. Designing and implementing production-grade AI/ML systems for document analysis, transaction analytics, and audit automation
2. Building and deploying models using Azure AI services and Databricks platforms
3. Partnering with our platform development team on AI integration patterns and Databricks architecture
4. Contributing technical expertise to AI governance frameworks and quality assurance processes
5. Collaborating with audit teams to translate business requirements into working AI solutions
What we are looking for:
You will have a strong background in AI/ML engineering with experience designing and building production AI systems in business contexts. You understand both the architectural considerations of ML systems and how to implement them effectively to solve real-world challenges. You are passionate about generative AI and its potential to transform professional services, and you're equally comfortable designing solutions as you are coding them.
Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
6. Proven experience in ML engineering and production AI system development
7. Strong hands-on Python programming skills and experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain)
8. Experience with MLOps practices and deploying models to production
9. Strong understanding of NLP, computer vision, and generative AI technologies
10. Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
