An exciting opportunity is available for a compassionate and confidentDeputy Managerto support the leadership of a therapeutic, trauma-informed childrens residential home in Leominster. The home provides care for up to five young people with learning difficulties and emotional or behavioural needs.

Role Overview
The Deputy Manager plays a key leadership role, assisting in the day-to-day running of the home and supporting both children and staff. This position involves a combination of on-shift responsibilities and administrative duties.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Home Manager with operational leadership and safeguarding
* Providing effective supervision and mentoring to team members
* Coordinating care planning, risk assessments, and behavioural support strategies
* Promoting therapeutic thinking and reflective practice throughout the team
* Supporting a positive team culture and addressing staff wellbeing
* Ensuring regulatory compliance with the Childrens Home Regulations 2015
* Maintaining high standards of documentation and reporting
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 1 years experiencein residential childcare, ideally at a senior level
* Level 3 Diplomain Residential Childcare (essential)
* Understanding of trauma-informed care, PACE, and therapeutic approaches
* Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
* Familiarity with relevant legislation and safeguarding practices
* A validUK Driving Licence
* Clearenhanced DBSand suitable references from roles involving children or vulnerable adults
