Job Title: Senior BI Engineer

The purpose of your role is to drive business value by building, maintaining, and optimising the organisation's BI systems. You will manage backend datasets, pipelines, and reporting platforms, supporting data-driven decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions, dashboards, and reports in Power BI.
* Prioritise and manage BI requests across the business, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of data solutions.
* Create clear visualisations and insights that translate complex data into actionable intelligence for stakeholders.
* Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvements in data workflows and reporting processes.
* Provide ad-hoc support for data engineering tasks to ensure reliability and availability of critical datasets.
Key Requirements:
* Strong experience in Power BI, SQL, and Python is essential.
* Experience with Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
* Knowledge of BI engineering concepts, including data modelling, ETL, pipelines, and backend data management.
* Experience with legacy BI systems (SSIS, SSAS cubes) and troubleshooting processes.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical data into insights for non-technical stakeholders.
