About the role
The role reports to the Head of Central Reporting and locally to the UK and IE head of transversal.
As part of the Performance Management team within our Operations Performance & Productivity division, and reporting to the Regional Lead Performance Europe 2, the Data Analyst - Business Intelligence is responsible for providing accurate visibility of Operations performance to business owners, including Activity, Quality, and Productivity indicators for all Lines of Business in the British & Irish Bus.
The primary duty of the Business Intelligence Analyst is to transform data into insight to enhance business value. They are responsible for the success of the business by using data to identify revenue losses and improvement areas to increase profits.
They will enable stakeholders to make better and quicker decisions, ultimately improving Operations' performance and employee engagement.
What you will do
* Identify, collect, and analyze KPIs and dashboard needs from stakeholders, including call center leaders, management, and other functions.
* Develop a framework to collect/store raw data from various sources, transform it into KPIs, and display it in comprehensive dashboards at different levels and frequencies.
* Monitor and analyze performance trends, proactively deliver alerts, and provide actionable insights to decision-makers.
* Work closely with the headquarters team to ensure successful local implementation of the global Power BI-based business intelligence tool.
* Support in preparing performance review presentations and act as a point of contact for ad-hoc KPI analysis under deadlines.
* Document and continuously improve the business intelligence operating procedures.
* Share best practices and undertake additional tasks as required.
What you will need
Qualifications and experience:
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Finance, or related fields.
* 3-5 years’ experience in data analysis/science/engineering within a performance-driven organization.
* Experience with ETL tools like Pentaho, SSIS, and reporting tools such as SSRS, Report Builder.
* Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau.
* Knowledge in Data Management, Big Data, WFM, CRM, and Telephony systems is advantageous.
* Ability to multitask effectively, learn quickly, and work well under pressure with good team spirit and a proactive attitude.
