Electrical Maintenance Engineer
📍 Full-Time | 4 On / 4 Off (Days) | £40,000 - £45,000

We're looking for a skilled engineer to join our team, helping to keep our production equipment running efficiently and reliably. If you enjoy fault finding, problem solving, and improving machinery performance, this could be the role for you.
The Role
You'll be responsible for planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of equipment, including:
Screw extruders
Classifiers
Blenders & mixers
Vacuum pumps
Water pumps
You'll also carry out on-site electrical installation work (sockets, lighting, emergency lighting) and support continuous improvement by making mechanical and electrical modifications to improve reliability and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Time-served maintenance engineering apprenticeship
NVQ Level 3 / ONC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years' experience in an electrical maintenance role
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
Highly Desirable:
Control panel fault finding (new & legacy systems)
Control panel modifications/upgrades
PLC fault finding and programming
Inverter parameter setup and modification
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
Candidates with additional technical expertise may be considered at the top end of the salary range.
