Role description
As a Senior Planner you will be an integral part of the programme delivery team responsible for the effective implementation of project controls across a Major Energy Project or portfolio of projects.
As part of our Programme and Project Management team, you’re help to deliver some of the biggest, most iconic projects around, with some of the best talent. Your energy, agility and keen eye for detail will deliver transformational outcomes for multiple clients every day.

Role Accountabilities
Develop baseline and detailed project schedules to support the delivery of complex engineering and construction programmes in compliance with company standards. Manage and report on critical path analysis and assess subcontractor programmes for approval by the Project Manager.
Utilise your expert knowledge of earned value management to support the broader project controls team to deliver accurate cost forecasts for the client and assist Project Managers in producing monthly performance reports.
Alongside working on live contracts, you will also work on projects during the pre‑contract phase to provide expert assessments of contractors’ tender programmes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience utilising Primavera P6 planning software.
* Schedule planning, forecasting and reporting.
* Construction background.
* Extensive NEC 3 / 4 contract experience.
* Ideally, experience working within the Electrical Transmission and Distribution sector, but individuals with experience on public sector projects within a regulated environment (water, rail, aviation, nuclear, etc.) are encouraged to apply.
* Experience working as part of an integrated delivery team.
