Our client, ABC Education, is an award-winning alternative provision tutoring company supporting disengaged children and young people across over 40 local authorities in the UK. They specialise in providing bespoke, learner-centred education for students who require a more flexible and personalised approach to learning. Due to continued demand, ABC Education is now seeking experienced SEND Tutors (QTS) to support learners across the Dorchester area between EYFS and A-Level. SEND Tutor the role: Deliver personalised Maths and/or English tuition to students with SEND Create engaging, project-based learning programmes to support re-engagement Build positive, trusting relationships with learners Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and needs Complete session reports and provide clear feedback on student progress Work in line with safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies SEND Tutor the person: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) Minimum of 2 years teaching experience Experience working with learners with SEND, including SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Two professional references UK-based with the right to work in the UK Full UK driving licence Pure Human Resources Limited works in partnership with ABC Education in providing recruitment support.
