HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 – Monday to Friday
Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Complex Facilities working in Billable Works delivery on Major/Minor domestic scale projects and asset replacement, or any other project as directed by the Area Billable Works Manager.
The Billable Works Manager plays an important part in acting as the stakeholder interface on site to deliver all of Amey’s contractual outputs and manage Supply Chain to ensure that all projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
What you will do:
* Project Management
* CDM
* Quality Assurance of Works
* Planning, directing, and controlling activities
* Agreeing scopes for Regional Projects
* Proactive performance management of the Project Supply Chain
* Ability to solve problems and make decisions
* Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract
* This role will support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as appropriate
What you will bring:
* HNC, or equivalent, level qualification in a Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience
* Management level qualification in H&S and Environment (e.g. SMSTS)
Ideally you will be qualified in Building Engineering with experience in Construction, Property Maintenance.
Experience in CDM, Asbestos, Temporary works supervision, and a sound understanding of Ecology regulations relating to Bats is desirable but not essential; development will be provided to bring you up to speed.
