About the RoleIn this exciting role, you'll be reporting to the Compliance Manager and working 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, with flexible working arrangements available. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring our organisation meets all legal requirements and safety standards related to lifts and water systems. Here's what you'll be doing:* Managing inspection schedules and overseeing contractors.* Monitoring performance and data to ensure compliance.* Implementing and embedding our lift and water safety management plans.* Supporting the delivery of our ambitious Homes & Growth Strategy.1.Key Responsibilities - Fire* ensure compliance with Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the Fire Safety Act 2021, Building Safety Act 2022 and all other associated legislation & guidance.* manage cyclical Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) programmes, including reviewing and challenging of reports, and ensuring timely completion of identified remedial actions.* review and investigate Fire Notifications, identifying trends, lessons learned and opportunities for improvement* oversee contractor performance, including regular meetings, audits, inspections, and effective challenge of poor delivery.* translate strategy, policy and procedures relating to fire into objectives, KPI's, management information, and assist in production of report to boards and committees.* monitor compliance processes and identify any non-compliant areas or process improvement opportunities2.Key Responsibilities - Lifts and Water* Ensure compliance with L8, COSHH, LOLER, PUWER, HSAW 1974, and related legislation.* Manage cyclical LRA/LOLER/PUWER programmes and remedials.* Provide technical advice to colleagues and maintain effective contract management.* Monitor compliance processes and identify areas for improvement.* Engage with residents and respond to inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.What We're Looking For
