Process Engineer
Location: Glascoed Based
Rate: £43.54 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35
Contract Duration: 8 Month Contract initially
This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based in Glascoed. The role offers a 4-day working week.
This role will report directly to the Senior Process Engineer.
Responsibilities:
1. Development of manufacturing processes from concept through to commissioning and qualification.
2. Be the first point of contact for process queries within the team.
Qualification and Experience (D - Desirable, E - Essential):
1. Minimum HNC / HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering or equivalent (E)
2. Experience and demonstrated knowledge of materials processing (D)
3. Experience and demonstrated knowledge in manufacturing in a high hazard environment (D)
4. IOSH Managing Safety / NEBOSH Certificate (D)
5. Green Belt Six Sigma (D)
6. A good understanding of project/risk management and the ability to use associated tools and techniques (E)
7. Formal training in Programmable Logic Control (PLC) (D)
8. Significant experience in carrying out Risk Assessments of manufacturing processes and equipment (E)
9. Knowledge of SIL and LOPA Analysis (D)
10. Experience of Contractor Management (D)
11. Competent in the use of computers including Microsoft Office (E)
