JMTechnical is looking for an experienced and dedicated Financial Controller to fully handle the company's financials.

As a Financial Controller you will be directly over-seeing all accounting functions of our business. Please see outlined responsibilities below.
Responsibilities
* Managing day to day accounting operations – including Invoicing, Bank Reconciliation, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, VAT, PAYE and HMRC.
* Collaborating with senior management to maintain current documenting and reporting practices
* Control and monitor income and expenditure, maintain adequate cash flow, and ensure all transactions are with formal authorisation and supported by appropriate evidence.
* Operate and maintain the accounting system (Quickbooks) / operations in a timely manner and accordance with financial procedures
* Track financial performance against monthly targets and budgets/cash flow
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Prepare and publish timely monthly statements
* Additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business
Skills & Knowledge
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in business or financial environment
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills and knowledge
* High level of interpersonal and communication skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
* Great knowledge of Quickbooks or similar accounting software
* Good organisational and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
Higher Education in accounting, finance, or business (preferred)
