Our stunning care home Ruddington Manor Care Centre is a purpose built care home facility in Wilford, Nottingham. The home is registered to provide care to 66 residents who have a variety of care needs including residential and nursing. Ruddington Manor is rated GOOD in all domains by CQC. We provide the highest standards of safety, comfort and care to residents. We are in a great location and have a very good local reputation. New Care has had a 0 agency usage for over 4years as we employ a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care to residents from staff that know them and that residents know and trust. Across New Care all of our staff are paid national living wage or above.
We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring and organised Receptionist join our team. To provide an efficient receptionist service ensuring that residents, guests and all visitors to the home are treated courteously and efficiently at all times. We have a 0 hour BANK contract available with an excellent hourly rate of £12.21! Shift times are 0900-1700, with weekend working where required.
Please be aware that is vacancy is for a 0 hour BANK contract to cover sickness and annual leave within the home. There are no regular or guaranteed hours on offer with this vacancy.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Provision of an inviting and welcoming reception service to visitors, ensuring security is maintained at all times, including the maintenance of the visitors signing in records.
2. Deal with prospective residents and their families who are enquiring about the home and show prospective residents and their families/carers around the home.
3. Provide a receptionist service including answering telephone calls, dealing with enquiries and transferring calls to the appropriate department or person.
4. To provide support to the Home Administrator as and when required.
Skills and experience required:
5. A welcoming and approachable attitude is essential.
6. A well organised approach, maintaining a tidy environment and a helpful attitude are essential.
7. The ability to build positive relationships with residents, relatives, staff and other visitors to the home is essential.
8. Good time management skills are essential.
9. Ability to work as part of a team to make sure the administration and receptionist department runs smoothly is essential.
