The Claims Transformation Project Manager will drive large-scale transformational projects across claims, target operating model (TOM), digital delivery, and operational initiatives. This role requires a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects using a range of methodologies, including agile, lean, and traditional approaches. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing claims solutions, optimizing processes, and ensuring operational synergies across all business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and maintain robust project governance (RAID, reporting, steering forums, change control).
2. Drive business readiness, stakeholder engagement and adoption through implementation.
3. Partner with Business Analysts to validate process improvements and ensure sustainable operational impact
4. Coordinate Claims, Operations, Underwriting, IT and third-party partners to ensure aligned execution.
5. Identify and escalate delivery risks early, ensuring timely mitigation and decision clarity.
6. Translate Target Operating Model priorities into structured workstreams and implementation plans.
7. Support development of business cases and ensure disciplined tracking of agreed benefits.
8. Detect, investigate, and develop claims solutions to achieve operational savings and support Target Operating Model goals
9. Build sustainable process solutions in collaboration with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
10. Deliver feasibility studies and support senior management in strategic transformation decisions
11. Professional experience in project management, preferably with claims or insurance knowledge
12. Experience in lean, 6-sigma, and agile methodologies
13. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior management
14. Analytical thinking and excellent numerical understanding
15. Experience working in international insurance and matrix structures
16. Ability to independently develop strategies and deliver ambitious goals
17. Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage
18. Willingness to travel as required (approx. 10%)
