Seven Resourcing is seeking an experienced Senior Building Control Surveyor to join a forward-thinking team in Blackpool. What you will do:
* Manage and assess a caseload of building control projects, including plan appraisals and site inspections.
* Evaluate dangerous structures and coordinate necessary remedial actions.
* Supervise and support trainees, apprentices, and assistants within the team.
* Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and relevant legislation.
* Liaise with external stakeholders such as Fire Services, Police, and contractors.
* Independently manage development sites and maintain accurate inspection and compliance records.
* Assist with special projects and undertake occasional out-of-hours work when required.
Essential criteria:
* Registration with the Building Safety Regulator (minimum Class 2E – Assessment and Inspection).
* Full membership with CABE, RICS, or MCIOB.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building control.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods and Building Regulations.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
