We are seeking a motivated and experienced senior member of staff to join our Community Nursing Team within the Mid Argyll Community Hospital and Integrated Care Centre.
The successful candidate will work across an extensive rural area, managing caseloads and visit allocations. This role offers an opportunity for career advancement into a senior position or for those seeking a change.
The post involves leading and supporting colleagues, including Healthcare Support Workers (HCSW). The Mid Argyll Community Nursing Team collaborates closely with multi-professional Health and Social Care Teams to deliver optimal care and outcomes within the Mid Argyll locality.
Our team is dynamic, forward-thinking, and committed to promoting community care. The post holder will utilize their senior nursing and assessment skills to reduce hospital admissions and support and educate junior staff.
The candidate will be expected to chair the Mid Argyll Virtual Ward and other patient-specific meetings in the absence of the Team Lead. Ideally, applicants will hold a District Nurse qualification or plan to pursue further education to obtain it in the coming years.
