The role of the Payroll Assistant
* Working with company management and the HR Advisor to ensure that all payroll data is gathered and submitted on time to be processed on a fortnightly and monthly basis
* Creating and maintaining payroll spreadsheets, ensuring data input is correct
* Helping to answer queries related to the payroll in partnership with the HR Advisor
* Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the Data Protection Act at all times
* Liaising with an outsourced payroll company, as required
* Maintaining the annual leave records (taken, owed, booked etc.)
* Liaising with company management regarding payroll queries
* Ensuring New Starter and Leaver information is processed in a timely manner
* Maintaining the absence records including gathering/submitting fit notes for SSP purposes
The ideal candidate for the role of Payroll Assistant
1. Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
