Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, detail orientated individual to undertake Port of Dover's daily drafting services using AutoCAD, to support Port of Dover teams in relation to major/minor capital and maintenance activities, and the management of the ports Service Clearance procedures. The successful candidate will also assist in the effective daily operation of other Asset Management department functions as required. The post will suit someone who is proactive, dynamic, approachable, a team player, with good interpersonal skills. Someone that is keen to get involved in continuous improvement and other supporting department activities. The Port of Dover drawing team have oversight of over 24,000 operational assets. The role is customer facing with a strong emphasis on learning and undertaking client side drawing office functions. You will be build the skills to work closely with stakeholders from across the business delivering a high quality service, within defined SLAs and covering a range of engineering disciplines. This is a level 3 apprenticeship with a duration of 42 months Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at Grades 4 or above to include English, Mathematics and a technical/science related subject A desire to learn AutoCAD in a construction related environment.
