Key Responsibilities:
As a Secondary Maths Teacher, your role will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned Maths lessons (KS3 & KS4, possibly KS5)
Adapting teaching methods to meet varied student needs
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Assessing and tracking student progress
Working collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams
Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people
✅ What You’ll Need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level
A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
Excellent classroom management skills
Strong communication and adaptability
An enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Full compliance with Teaching Personnel's vetting procedures (references, ID checks, safeguarding checks, etc.)
Desirable:
Fluency in Welsh ️
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Experience in Welsh-medium schools or knowledge of the Welsh curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
