The Role and School
Are you an ambitious EYFS teacher ready for your next role in a forward thinking Primary School? We are looking for an engaging and motivated EYFS Teacher to join a school in the Wisbech area. The role is to begin in April 2026 but an earlier start may be possible for the right applicant.
This role will continue until the end of the academic year, though there is a chance that it may continue beyond then and become a permanent role. The class size is 26 children and has the support of an experienced teaching assistant in class.
A part-time, job-share will be considered for this role.
This vacancy has become available due to an internal promotion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Help create a positive and comfortable environment for the class, whilst also monitoring classroom management and assisting with behaviour support
2. Be able to adapt and adjust various activities and experiences in order to match the abilities of each class member
3. Be responsible for a class of Foundation stage children, showing respect and care for each student whilst also showing a good level of tolerance
Requirements
4. Hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) within the UK
5. Have recent experience working within a Primary School, preferably teaching at EYFS or key stage 1 level
6. Have strong team-working and communication skills in order to work efficiently and effectively with a wider team
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this EYFS Teacher position are:
