Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: Experience of working in a Legal services/Law firm environment Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience (querying, basic optimisation, T-SQL) Proven experience in supporting and maintaining business applications (not just development) Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, VBA, or VBScript) Familiarity with Microsoft environments (Office 365, Windows Server, Active Directory) Strong communication skills and experience working with end users and senior stakeholders Knowledge of scripting languages including VBA, VB Script and PowerShell MS Server 2016 network administration (AD, groups, security, etc.) including Exchange Knowledge of IIS configuration and management Desirable Skills: Experience with Inprotech, iManage applications (front & back end) version 11 onwards Understanding of data security and compliance, including ISO27001 or secure coding practices SQL Server development skills (stored procedures, triggers, performance tuning) Experience with SSRS reporting Exposure to IIS, HTML, CSS, or web-based systems Responsibilities: Providing application configuration and maintenance of business systems, including CPA Inprotech Case Management software and iManage Worksite Document Management Systems Developing MS Office applications including templates, data injection, and automation Assisting with improving the efficiency and productivity of staff using IT applications and manipulating information Liaising with end users, Inprotech Development Analysts, Partners, and the Senior Software Developer to understand business requirements and deliver solutions Under instruction from the Applications and Development Manager, manage and optimise various SQL Server databases Maintain application security and data privacy in line with ISO27001 standards, applying secure coding practices and ensuring compliance with firm security standards Liaise with other functions within the Technology Team and Finance Design new and maintain Microsoft Office templates with data integrated from other data sources Technologies: Active Directory CSS Excel Network Office 365 PowerShell SQL Security VBA Web Windows Support More: We are a leading London law firm offering a competitive salary up to £70,000 along with excellent benefits, including hybrid working arrangements (2 days from home and 3 days in our central London office).
