Whether you're experienced or brand new to the classroom, this school is ready to support your journey.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing as an SEN Teaching Assistant:\n\nAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping students with special educational needs thrive both academically and emotionally. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:\n\n * Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties\n\n * Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and structured activities\n\n * Promoting emotional regulation and social development using positive behaviour strategies\n\n * Supporting learning through play, visuals, and sensory-based resources\n\n * Encouraging communication and interaction, sometimes using alternative methods (such as PECS or Makaton - you will be offered training)\n\n * Helping students access the curriculum and stay engaged in classroom activities\n\n * Assisting with personal care routines (when required) in a respectful and supportive manner\n\n * Monitoring progress and contributing to observations and reports\n\n * Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued\n\nThis is a hands-on, rewarding role where you’ll genuinely make a difference every single day – helping young people build confidence, independence, and life skills.\n\nWhat They’re Looking For:\n\n * Friendly, reliable, and committed individuals\n\n * A genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEN\n\n * No experience needed but apricated – must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.\n\n * Must be available full-time (Monday to Friday – no part-time options)\n\n * Right to work in the UK\n\n * A valid DBS or willingness to apply for one (we can help)\n\nWhat You’ll Get in Return:\n\n * Competitive daily pay: £105 – £115 (based on experience)\n\n * Long-term position with a strong chance of going permanent\n\n * Weekly Pay\n\n * Ongoing training and professional development\n\n * Opportunities for career progression into HLTA or teacher training routes\n\n * Be part of a positive, welcoming, and genuinely supportive team\n\nIf you're ready to take the next step in your education journey and want to be part of something meaningful – apply now and speak with our friendly team today!\n\nWeStaff Education
