Role Purpose
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a workplace experience Ambassador based in Sheffield. The Ambassador's primary goal is impacting the care and comfort of the employees. You will know employees on a first name basis as well as their "delight" preferences. You will liaise closely with the wider WE&O team to ensure the space is visually and environmentally comfortable. You will solicit customer feedback through face to face interactions, leaving employees with the feeling that they are personally being cared for. You will be in touch with hot issues affecting the office and act as the point of communication to all impacted. This opportunity would be ideally suited to a great 'people person' looking to progress their career in a fast-paced corporate environment.
What This Job Involves
* Welcome existing employees and new starters to the building; brief on office etiquette and protocols – including enforcing the clear desk policy. Referring to the Workplace team if more in-depth training required
* Staff engagement at all levels – main point of contact for all staff.
* To ensure that desks are equipped with the appropriate technology equipment
* To manage locker allocation, including return of lockers for exiting employees, also assisting staff who are having trouble accessing their lockers
* To liaise with the businesses regarding any desk allocation changes including FMS (cost centre allocations, space allocations etc)
* Administer and assist users with the desk booking system and any queries
* To coordinate the ordering and supply of stock for the Centralised Stationery areas
* To ensure that meeting rooms contain correct equipment and are used correctly i.e. for meetings and not for personal workspace
* Monitor and enforce any abuse of collaborative area's to maintain a workable operational environment for all occupants
* To assist with any minor technology issues
* To ensure that the floors remains presentable and run smoothly on a day to day basis. Liaising with the FM / Housekeeping team as appropriate. Including meeting rooms, vending areas, washrooms etc. Proactively spotting things, owning the space and calling the JLL helpdesk when necessary.
* Provide 'customer care' for outstanding/overdue work orders.
* To provide a level of 'on the ground' intel/support on things like desk utilisation (to support Occupancy Planning and Workplace)

* Able to demonstrate excellent people management skills with a proven track record in this area.
* Able to communicate effectively in a variety of written and verbal formats with a wide range of people.
* Able to work to a flexible pattern if required
* Highly accurate under pressure to meet tight deadlines
* Able to demonstrate good IT Skills – Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Email and Web
