Overview
Here at Brownhills Ormiston Academy, we are looking for an exceptional Reset Room Manager. The role requires strong relational skills, emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to support students to reflect on their behaviour while maintaining clear boundaries and high expectations. As Reset Room Manager you will play a key role in helping students regulate, rebuild relationships, and reintegrate positively into learning, contributing to a calm and supportive school culture.

The post is ideally suited to an organised and efficient individual with an eye for detail and accuracy, and who understands the importance of confidentiality and integrity in the workplace.
Responsibilities
* Support students to reflect on their behaviour and reintegrate into learning while maintaining clear boundaries and high expectations.
* Help students regulate, rebuild relationships, and contribute to a calm and supportive school culture.
* Demonstrate motivation to work with children, resilience in dealing with challenging behaviours, and the ability to form and maintain appropriate supportive relationships.
* Provide pastoral and wellbeing support, encouraging students to develop the skills and strategies to access the curriculum.
* Assist in safeguarding and child protection duties as part of the school safeguarding team.
* Maintain confidentiality and integrity in line with school policies and data protection requirements.
* Communicate effectively with students and staff and manage responsibilities with organisation and attention to detail.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience of working with children/young people (11-16) in a voluntary or professional capacity.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
* Knowledge of current safeguarding issues and school behaviour issues.
* Be a confident and skilled behaviour manager.
* Be a motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Ability to identify work priorities and manage own workload to meet deadlines.
* High attention to detail and accuracy; excellent organisation and communication skills.
* Excellent literacy and numeracy; proficient in IT, including all elements of Microsoft Office.
* Flexible approach to meet the varying needs of the school; some evening work and may require work during holidays.
