We have an exciting opportunity for a SPAR Customer Team Member. As a Customer Team Member at SPAR, you will play a vital role in supporting our store management and creating a positive customer experience. You will assist in maximising sales and profit by carrying out allocated tasks to contribute to the continuous improvement of the store, ensuring great customer service through ‘Brilliant Basics, Moments of Wow, Food for later and Food for now!’ You must be willing to undergo Post Office financial vetting.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
* Greeting customers in a friendly manner.
* Answering inquiries and assisting customers in finding products.
* Processing purchases efficiently and accurately at the tills.
* Upselling products and highlighting offers to maximise sales.
Store Operations:
* Handling stock deliveries, stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness, and rotating stock for freshness.
* Completing tasks like date checking, stock checks, price changes, and promotional displays.
* Following all company policies and procedures.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
* Experience in a similar role is preferred.
* Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Understanding of retail legislative responsibilities.
* Ability to contribute ideas for customer service and business growth.
* Experience with ‘Challenge 25’ policy is desirable.
* Enthusiastic team player with independent working skills.
* Cash handling experience is a plus but not essential.
