The role
We're looking for a Change Manager to join our Customer Office Change Team, supporting or leading small to medium-sized business change projects. You'll ensure delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality, while shaping and implementing change approaches independently. You'll build strong relationships across the business—including Proposition, Operations, Communications, and Training—using your stakeholder management skills to drive successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
* Scope projects and define objectives, deliverables, and success measures.
* Produce clear, high-quality documentation (plans, risks, actions, decisions).
* Manage stakeholders and keep sponsors informed throughout the project.
* Operate within governance frameworks to track risks and issues.
* Apply and share change management tools and best practices.
* Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Represent Customer Office on steering groups as needed.
* Influence and build relationships across teams without direct authority.
* Navigate tight deadlines, limited resources, and competing priorities.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Proven experience leading people-focused change (not IT-focused).
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Deep knowledge of change management principles.
* Ability to manage conflicting priorities and guide diverse teams.
* Experience delivering business readiness plans across functions.
Desirable:
* APMG Change Management or similar qualification (Agile, PRINCE2, Lean).
* Experience in regulated, customer-focused environments.
* Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
