About the Role:
We are currently recruiting Day Support Workers to work in residential settings across Leicester, supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals by providing care, structure, and emotional support throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent care and supervision during daytime hours
* Support young people with daily routines, activities, and emotional wellbeing
* Promote independence and positive behaviour
* Respond to challenging behaviour with patience and professionalism
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the wider care team
* Follow individual care plans and safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people in EBD or similar settings (preferred)
* A compassionate, resilient, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
* Flexibility to work across various settings in Teflord
