We are looking for a highly organised and people focused Recruitment and Onboarding Assistant to play a key part in delivering a professional, efficient and welcoming experience for candidates and new starters. You will provide reliable administrative support in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, handling confidential information with care, and ensuring recruitment and onboarding processes run smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to build a career in recruitment.
Responsibilities
* Providing administrative support across recruitment and onboarding activities
* Coordinating interviews and supporting pre-employment checks
* Managing diaries, inboxes and recruitment documentation accurately
* Maintaining records and handling confidential information appropriately
* Communicating professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders
* Prioritising tasks and working to deadlines
Qualifications
* Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
* Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams, with the ability to learn new systems
* A positive, reliable and methodical approach
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous exposure to recruitment or HR is desirable but not essential.
* GCSE Maths and English at grades A to C or Level 4 to 9, or equivalent, are required.
