Your Role & Key Skills
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be a crucial part of a student's success. Your duties will include:
* Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students with special educational needs, both in the classroom and during specific sessions.
* Encouraging student engagement and contributing to their overall well-being.
* Keeping accurate and detailed records of student progress and behaviour.
* Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
* Building strong, positive relationships with students and colleagues.
* Collaborating effectively as a valuable member of the school team.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
* A minimum of 6 months of experience assisting children with SEN in a UK classroom setting.
* A valid Enhanced DBS check (registered with the Update Service or willing to apply for a new one).
* The legal right to work in the UK.
* A strong commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development.
