We are looking to recruit an Quality Control Inspector to ensure that customer quality standards are maintained and instructions are carried out as agreed.
Main responsibilities:
* Certify customers work in accordance with the relevant requirements
* Carry out contract review on customers work
* Inspect customers work and attach relevant controlling documentation
* Release work in production
* Carry out first off / patrol inspection / final inspection
* Ensure all quality aspects of customer requirements are maintained
* Load & unload vehicles (using FLT when necessary)
* Book in components to ensure customer paperwork is in order
* Raise job cards / route cards
* Raise release notes & delivery notes
* Inspect own work to identify trends & maintain quality standards
* Maintain a tidy / safe work environment
Qualifications, experience and skills:
* Basic understanding of metal joining processes and metallurgy is desirable, with vocational qualification to level 3 preferred but other qualifications taken into account
